Implemented Features
From Foldeomics Wiki
PFD is currently still in Beta stage, this means we are testing it and getting feedback from those in the folding community. While it is public, it is not officially "released" yet, as we are still fixing small issues, and adding new features to the mix.
Below is a listing of features that were suggested as improvements to the PFD system & have since been completed & implemented.
If you would like to suggest a feature that you feel would benefit in your own & other members of the folding community's research & use of PFD, please submit a feature request. Please be sure before submitting that you have checked our Feature-Adds page to see what other users have suggested.

Implemented Features
These are a list of features that the PFD Development Team have implemented into the PFD system.
Feature #01 - Making the Search Module More Dynamic
The current method of searching is to basically select a certain number of fixed fields from the database & display those back to the user, allowing them to search on those fields only. This is okay to handle most standard information that a user would want about a protein & it's measurement data, it doesn't really allow advanced users to drill into specialised aspects of the data & compare those though. Some attempts were made to allow extra fields to show when searching with the Advanced Search, although there are a few known issues with these (see Known Issues).
25 Jan 2007 - Feature added.
Feature #06 - PFD Templates Provided In OpenSource Formats
PFD currently provides it's "Mutant Data" and "Equilibrium Curve & Chevron Plot Data" templates in Microsoft Excel format.
While Microsoft Excel is part of the Microsoft Office (which unfortunately isn't free), there are several OpenSource programs that will handle these files.
It has been suggested that as well as providing templates in Microsoft's proprietry format, the templates should be provided in the new standardised OpenDocument format.
31 Jan 2007 - Feature added.
Feature #07 - Logging More Than 1 Feature Request / Bug Report
Currently if a user wishes to log more than one bug report / feature request they need to click one the "request a Feature" or "Report a Bug" links, which in turn open in new windows.
While this seems like a logical & user friendly idea, so that users don't accidentally lose what they were working on, it can become annoying that you end up opening several windows when logging more than one feature request / bug report.
This can be fixed by adding a link on the completion page of bg report/ feature request logging to take user back to the input page.
19 Dec 2006 - Feature added.
